My brother (Raylol on Mal'ganis horde) was subject to one of these resets. He played legitimately to 2200 with 2 players who did the same. He was banned because he was on a 5v5 team that had been exploiting long after he had left the team. After 'super-storm' sandy, we had lost power for 16 days, and he was unable to take any action prior to this incident. It was only recently that he was restored his gear; season total remaining at the reset value (0). I cannot say I didn't expect this from blizzard, as I've been playing this game for quite some time and am quite familiar with the idiocy in development that is characterized by Blizzard entertainment. Ignorance, or blatant disregard - this is ridiculous, bottom line. Situations like this discourage anyone who has any serious intention of engaging in arena/competitive content on wow.
think its funny, but more hilarious at the fact he posted some random games to defend his case. where if u go back to his team's win/loss page and doesnt see any sort of suspicions. i will also note that blizzard even put it out that, any team that received benefit from the exploit: exploiter and/or other party will be penalized. oh yeah, GJ on t2 weapons on the 10th Oct. clearly earned through hard work and perseverance.
happened something like that on my account. i got reseted on my mage and after talking with some GM didnt got my items back.. lost the want to play this game so gg wow, see you on dota2
