The ultimate challenge. The most nerve-wracking boss I ever soloed. And in Heroic, because c'mon.

167 wipes spanned over 4 days, most of them are bad pulls reset, but I had a number disheartening wipes, the worst of all shown at the beginning (2 procs away from a kill, the very same procs I DID get for the actual kill).

Anyway, let's dive in the details :

First of all, Frost spec. That might sound counter-intuitive to you, after all Arcane is hands down the best single target spec right now. But Frost has very constant DPS while Arcane relies on burst, and we need continuous healing to survive.

The DPS cap is at 91k and the healing requirement is 15k. Add to that that you need 20% Avoidance, so Mark of Supreme Doom is pretty much required, unless you have a TON of Leech and Avoidance procs on your gear, then in this case this boss will be easy for you.

I had 740 ilvl; 16.31% Leech and 20% Avoidance for this kill. That's the absolute minimum, and even with that it's going to take a while. I have 751 Tome of Shifting Words (Archimonde trinket, Mythic Warforged fully upgraded) and I couldn't have possible killed the boss without it. Even 745 would probably not have been enough.

You will also need perfect timing and preparation. I have numerous wipes due to me failing on timings. The most important of all is Nithramus. You must NEVER delay it. Not by a SINGLE second. That means you will sometimes have to delay Water Jet to have enough procs for the ring. The reason behind this "no-delay" is that if you delay your ring, even by only a few seconds, the very last ring you will use will splash the hands, or you will be forced to Ice Block to not get hands and lose precious DPS (I had wipes because of that too)

Finally, word of advice : surviving this boss is actually quite easy (the damage is linear and increases only with Frenzy), but meeting the DPS AND healing requirements is insanely difficult. So if the boss is anywhere above 91-90% after your first ring exploded, reset and try again. It will save you time.

The bunch of text at the top of the screen are WeakAuras I made, most useful of those is real-time DPS calculation, the other ones are not so interesting.
