UPDATE - History:

One reason why I finally created another movie probably was the release of Final Fantasy XIII-2 and its epic soundtrack. The used track "An Arrow Through Time" especially got me thinking and like many movie makers I immediately started to build a movie in my head. After all that time I finally wanted to give something back to the community. So making a WoW machinima was the obvious choice.

In April 2012 I started by recording the Stormwind Keep scene to check if it was possible to do what I wanted before creating the whole movie. Within a few days I finished recording and the basic cut as well. Then I exported it from Vegas to After Effects for composition (this is where the time it takes to make a video increases exponentially). There I created all effects and the nice transitions. During the whole process I tried to keep the quality high. For example the shown scene locations are not randomly located around the world but rather more like a travel path: http://goo.gl/zgxYe

Finally it is really interesting to see how people experience the movie and the different individual interpretations of the story. This is why I probably won�t ever go into any detail of it.
